Nine very good reasons to _ _ _ _ this the weekend!
There currently isn't enough time to fit everything I want/need to do into the 24 hour cycle. Exercise, gardening, writing, photography, reading, sleeping, playing, doing nothing. These things are sitting on the side lines at the moment.
Small things (that typically never happen) like forgetting to roll the trash bin out on Thursday demonstrate that my brain power is elsewhere.
Shoes left laying around the house (this never ever happens). I glanced down Thursday night and noticed high heel boots and flip flops sitting on the rug next to the dog; another pair of heels at the back door. All mine. Evidence of all the dashing in and out that's occurring at the moment.
Mail. Stacked.
Dogs. Wondering what happened to their walks.
Project New (a/k/a "Yellow"). Finally able to walk the site last night for the first time this week.
I know this is incredibly boring stuff to share but, these are the first signs that this transition (while relatively smooth) is not occuring without forfeit.
Not big things, mind you. Just enough to take notice, ease up and shuffle things back around to keep the balance.
A stiff cocktail (or two) is going to help with that too.
